greasing process in cold roll mill

It is to reduce the thickness of the work piece from the initial thickness to a pre-determined final thickness. This is accomplished on a rolling mill, in which two work rolls, rotating in opposite directions, draw the strip or plate to be rolled into the roll gap and force it through to the exit, causing the required reduction of the thickness.
